 Hey Blog It's Justin and I'm here to give some info about Hip Hop music videos. My group decided to pick Jumpin by NLE Choppa. This song happens to be a rap/Hip Hop song. The song also falls under the subcategory of drill rap.

  • In these types of music videos you tend to see groups of men dancing. They also tend to have a couple women in the video dancing.
  • Costumes generally consist of designer clothing, expensive shoes, and designer accessories. For example, Gucci belts, Amiri Jeans, or Dior sneakers. On the New York drill scene they really tend to wear puffer coats like the Moncler coat. Rappers also love there jewelry which is the biggest part of the costume.
  • Props consist of money, guns, drugs, and different cars. Rappers tend to bring out many exotic cars that are flashy and cool.
  • A lot of Hip Hop music videos tend to be filmed in Mansions or rundown houses. They also like to film the videos in the middle of streets.
  1. In New York drill majority of rappers tend to use lyrics that promote violent crimes such as murder or homicides. They also promote the distribution of paraphernalia in their lyrics. They also like to describe how they get illegal money.
  2. They tend to identify their groups as gangs in the music video. They also like to bring people from their neighborhoods from.

 Hey blog I’m back again. Today I am fixing some of the edits I made to the movie. We shot some new scenes and had to make some changes. One thing I changed in the edit is the music. The music we had before didn't really fit the theme of the movie. I found another song that fits the movie perfectly. This song is also copyright free. Second, we fixed some issues with titles. At first, the title seemed a little choppy. I wanted to clean it up a bit so that it looks clear and goes in smoothly. I also changed the title font to give it  a bolder look. Then I fixed the transition. Some of them looked a little choppy. I wanted to clean nonstop. Other than that, the editing went pretty well. I haven't done much myself. My friend Macken did most of the work. he's really good at it. He also has past experience. Glad he was able to fix it. It really made a great difference.

Hey blog its Justin and I'm going tell you guys my plans for the song. Props  For the Props we'll use fake money in the video to make it seem like the actor is wealthy. We will also have a car as prop because most music videos have cars in them. Our Most important prop will be the jewelry because it's a main convention of hiphop. Costumes  The actors will where skinny jeans and hats with sneakers. The outfits are used to signify hiphop culture. Since the artist is from New York, the actors will also wear coats to picture the NY drill scene. The actors will also where designer accessories to show off the flashiness of the outfit. Schedule  11/20/22 We will film the first couple of scenes in the music video. 11/27/22 We will film the next couple of scenes for the music video. 12/4/22 We will film last couple of scenes for the music video.  12/5/22 We will use this day to edit and clean up the filming.
